Empowering Bolivian communities to transcend the limitations of poverty.
We're not a charity. We're co-creators of opportunity. We connect families with down-to-earth, locally controlled programs that foster well-being, now and into the future.
100% of donations go directly to Bolivia to fund projects. All administrative costs in the US are supported by funds raised by the Board of Directors.
Etta Turner, a Rotary exchange student in Montero, Bolivia, made an impact on community life. After her brief time and tragic passing in Bolivia in 2003, a feeding center for impoverished children was named for her: Comedor de Niño's Etta Turner. In honor of her spirit of activism, compassion and partnership, friends and family established Etta Projects in 2003.
Etta Projects was originally established to support the feeding center, but as other pressing needs were identified, programs were expanded. Now, her legacy drives sponsorship of food, education, economic and development programs for some of the world's most vulnerable children and their families.
Etta Projects partners with Bolivian communities to identify, prioritize, and implement sustainable solutions to the health, education, and economic challenges of poverty.
