We need a four wheel drive dual cab truck but can live with any large four wheel drive vehicle like a jeep or land cruiser.
In Bolivia we have two vehicles because we are usually managing two fairly large projects, but unfortunately last month, one of our vehicles drowned. All our staff is fine but the truck took in too much water and is beyond resuscitation. We are struggling to get into the rural communities right at the apex of both our projects and before the rainy season starts again in a few months. Staff are working double shifts late into the night and weekends. We are desperate for a second vehicle.
This is how you can help no matter where you live:
- Call a truck dealer for us. There are a lot of these types of vehicles sitting on sales lots that will not be sold and they could earn the full blue book retail tax deduction and way good karma.
- Tell someone you know who wants to get rid of their four wheel drive gas guzzling beast in great running shape, we can ship it over to Bolivia. They will get not only a kiss from every board member but a great tax deduction on 2012 taxes, and the wonderful feeling that they'll literally put a whole organization back on track.
