Etta Projects provided the $210 that funded daily vitamins for 100 children per day for one year.

Who We Serve

Who We Serve

The children and their families who live in or near Montero, Bolivia are those we serve. They're people like us — they simply don't have our resources. Etta Projects works side-by-side with communities to evaluate needs while using local skills, ingenuity and resources to improve lives.

Children

Special attention is often placed on rural children and adolescents, and to date, all of Etta Projects' projects have included a children's program. Providing nourishment for children, in the areas we currently serve and those we will serve in the future, is our primary goal. Etta Projects understands that rural children and youth are often most endangered by bad sanitation infrastructure and low hygienic services in their households, rural schools and kindergartens.

The goal of all Etta Projects' Children's Programs is to empower kids with knowledge and skills that enable them to make positive changes in their lives and ensure healthier futures for themselves.

Women

We've found that the key to ongoing self-determination for families is to provide women - mostly mothers - with the tools they need to survive and thrive. The Women's Programs are dedicated to education, empowerment, and capacity building. They build on the skills, talents, and local knowledge of women in order to enhance their social and economic development. The result has been an overall improvement to the wellbeing of all family members and of the whole community.

Communities

Etta Projects interacts and forms trusting relationships with all demographics of a community. Although the majority of programs focus on women and children, the whole community is consulted regarding the priorities that will most improve individual communities. Together we analyze, discuss, and evaluate issues. The outcome is an increase in collective participation and, in turn, long-lasting, positive change.
